honestly so happy to release this game and find so many of you loving it. i especially like the comments where u go like "this was horrible, thank you" the ability to elicit emotion out of other people makes me feel real. all the nice words have been read and all generous donations are going directly into buying better ergonomic computer equipment so i can keep making gay shit

after playing a ton of vn cup entries last year i really kept on thinking about joining this one. the time wasnt ideal so i was about to skip but i ended up taking part anyway. i really recommend giving a look at the other entries as theres a ton of really good games there *click click*

its been about a week since release and my brain has finally calmed down from the intense focus i put into the project. i still cant believe i made this entire project in 16 days. i started it this month and finished it in time for the deadline.  about 50 hours of active game making. i wonder how long i spent spinning in bed agonizing about planned plot details to daphne before i got it all straightened out

i work the best when i am in the zone working in short but intense bursts and usually my hands explode but this time they did not. i tried to be mindful of the time spent drawing and avoid holding a pen for over a hour, and while i failed a couple times it did result in me not fucking up. big reason why i was able to keep track of it all was because i downloaded a software called activitywatch that logs the time spent on everything. so i could tell myself yes nadia youve already done enough now you have permission to rest. and no nadia stop drawing youve already been drawing for 2 hours today.

i just like looking at the numbers so im saving this for future me. unfortunately few days of working on the game is missing since i only downloaded the thingy after that
